The Hilton Lively Renewable Power Project began operations in late 2014. Owned and developed by ETEC, the facility is located near Woodville, Texas.

In 2015, East Texas Electric Cooperative broke ground on the R.C. Thomas Hydroelectric Project, developed in cooperation with the Trinity River Authority and the City of Houston. Upon completion in 2019, the plant is expected to generate enough electricity to power 12,000 homes in East Texas.
